As part of the National Blood Service Agency (NBSA), we operate in alignment with national and international best practices to enhance blood safety, donation, and transfusion services.
Our agency plays a dual role in blood collection and regulation, ensuring that all public and private blood banks in the state adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Through voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation drives, community awareness campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we work to increase the availability of safe blood, particularly for emergency care, maternal health, accident victims, and people with life-threatening conditions.
